Interactive Brokers employees remain subject to the same computer security, document and communication retention requirements, and litigation-related document holds when working remotely as they do when they are in the office. IB work product (i.e., documents and files) should not be saved on a home computer, where it may become a firm record subject to retention and possibly collection in response to existing or future litigation-related holds. Furthermore, such a practice may put the firm’s sensitive data at risk.

While you work remotely, remember to keep all IB work on official IB workspaces.
